Stylised Victorian Study

For my final project at university, I have created a Victorian study. The style is influenced by Mary Blair's and Eyvind Earle's concept art work. I have included their work within the room and other Disney influences are scattered throughout the room. 

I decided to focus on a stylised art style to stand out against other Victorian era based environments that use realistic art styles. Doing this has helped me improve my texturing and modelling skills.

Having the scene set at dusk/night made it challenging to set up the lighting. There are two areas of light: the fireplace and the window. Showing the contrast between artificial and natural lighting was an effective way to split the room into two sections.
