Pirates of the caribbean cabin

For this piece I used Jack Sparrow's Cabin, as shown in Dead man's chest,  as a reference. I chose this scene because of the candlelight. This made the lighting a bit of a challenge, but I feel like I managed to bring across the nice mood.

Xgen Hairstyles

Learning Xgen had been on my mind for a while, so the past year I did just that. I did a lot of research and followed some classes and this is the result of my efforts. 
The loose hair is one of my first attempts about a year ago, while I just finished the ponytail hairstyle.

The hair was made in Xgen and rendered with Arnold.
The base mesh was also modeled by me using Zbrush.

Look at all those chickens...

This sculpt was inspired by the video: "Look at all those chickens". 
It's a video of a girl who is really impressed seeing a bunch of birds.
I wanted to make something different and fun, so I used this as a base for this sculpt.
It was also an excellent exercise, since sculpting children is really different from adults.

Tourist concept and model

I originally made this design for a school assignment. The idea was to make a stereotypical tourist. Afterwards I decided to make him in 3D as well. Along the way I made some stylistic adjustments where I felt it was needed.
