The Rookies 2019 - Blood Moon
Is Blood Moon just a member of a special kind of lunar tetrad?
Once the moon was turning red, the story was coming.
Based on the Chinese folktale of the mid moon festival, I designed the rabbit and the man. The rabbit was hardworking and good-natured. On the other hand, the man was indolent and ill-natured. The environment was destroyed on the moon where they lived. On the end, The rabbit couldn’t endure anymore and killed the man.
The idea of the rabbit’s silhouette was from the shade which was printed at the paper by the dinner, fried chicken. Then, I created different pose of the character. Switching the man’s face was to become a more sluggish one.
