NOON - Rookies 2023
Hi! I am Carlos García, 3D artist and I was a student at Voxel School. I present to you this modern architecture project that I am very fond of and I have tried to take care of every detail. I hope you like it <3
NOON
Hello! Do you like modern but miss the tranquility of nature? Have you ever wanted to be like Despicable Me and be able to take your base to a remote place? I'm sure you also like to roll down your car window to smell the rain when you're coming home from work.
This project is born from these ideas that seem random but, once they are deepened, they make sense. With a minimalist design on the outside and eclectic on the inside. This is how he creates that union between the harmony of nature and the variety of modernity.
WORKFLOW
I always like to have a clear order of the process: blocking -> more detail of large objects and decide decoration -> configuration of lights and cameras -> texturing -> more detail environment -> final configuration of lights and cameras -> render -> final composition.
From something general to something specific.
The first thing to model was the structure. A diaphanous property that the divisions of each area are marked by the furniture. All this based on the fact that the structure is L-shaped connected to the lake at its feet and the forest behind it.
Later, the forest is shaped and the environment closest to the house is adapted. Like rocks and vegetation on the ground.
After that, the last thing I adjusted was the positions of the cameras looking for a stable composition that highlights the strong points of the structure and its interior. At the same time, I worked on the lighting to make the final renders.
The programs/plugins used from start to finish have been:
3DS MAX: the greatest workload falls on this program. Modeling, lightning, texturing and rendering with V-Ray.
FOREST PACK: forest and ground vegetation.
BRIDGE: some rocks and nature models.
ADOBE PHOTOSHOP: final composition.
Thank you for your attention to my work and I hope you liked it as much as I liked doing it.
