Hello Friends!

My name is Peter Wang, and I am a motion designer from Taiwan that focus on branding and design.

I am a rising senior majoring in Motion Media at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). As a motion designer, I have a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating engaging and visually stunning motion pieces.

Throughout my studies at SCAD, I have developed a strong foundation in storytelling and visualizing design.

Brand x Artist collaboration: Hydro Flask x Peter Wang

Here’s a project that I did recently, a brand x artist collaboration.

This project features collaboration among Hydro Flask and myself. In this project, I have to design and produce two 15 second videos along with a branding package.

The design focus on the mother nature - mountain and sea, where located in Taiwan. As a Taiwanese designer, I would like to promote the essence beauty of our island and share it with the world. And using my design on everyday subject like water bottle, in my opinion, is the best promotion that one can get.

CoMotion 23 Pitch

CoMotion is a student-led motion graphics conference that brings together top industry professionals with Motion Media Design students at the Savannah College of Art and Design.

In this pitch, I  teamed up with several MOME fellow and design the concept for the topic of the CoMotion 2023: Balance.

The concept was to create a highly contrast world with sci-fi techs underneath a jungle, which would reflect on the idea of Balance in the mind is peace and tranquility, world issues and trivial aspects of life challenge that harmony.

T-heart promotion: Tactile Design

Tactile Design in motion refers to design that focus on physical subjects to create movements or motions. It is a form of visual representation that commonly used in motion media.

This project targets a company named T-heart based in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The company is currently focusing on health products like probiotics for those who suffers from bowel problems, and medical masks that reduce the chance of getting contagious COVID-19 virus.

The concept for this project is to create a series of styleframes that illustrates the story of the company and how it brings its impact to the society. The idea of light and shadow represents the ups and downs in life, and how you can balance it out in your own life by the help of T-heart.

Client: T-Heart LTD.
