Hi we are 100% Milk Productions and we are proud to present our second year short film from Escape Studios, The Milks Gone Bad. Six of us in total worked on this project over the course of six weeks. The film is a parody of detective and noir films.
Intro
Hi we are 100% Milk Productions and we are proud to present our second year short film from Escape Studios, The Milks Gone Bad. Six of us in total worked on this project over the course of six weeks. The film is a parody of detective and noir films.
Synopsis
A comedic satire on 1940s detective movies. The milks gone bad takes place in an interrogation room. A detective interrogates a suspect in a grisly murder attempting to find who ordered the hit so he can put them behind bars once and for all.
Storyboards and Animatic
Our storyboards and animatic went through alot of change throughout the planning and production phase of this project. Thanks to our fantastic storyboard artists and editor we managed to get a very nice base to start animation.

Detective Buttons
Lady Carla
Lady Carla was a milk carton created by Belinay Koch in Autodesk Maya. We then applied a texture to the model. To then add the animation we parented an image plane to the milk carton and then played the animation on top of it.
Set
For our set we created an interrogation room that then had the toon shader applied to it to keep it stylised
