A solo short animated film adaptation of the fable 'The wolf and his shadow'. A hungry alleyway dog finds the tastiest looking trash he's seen in an alleyway, but suddenly panics at a huge shadow beside him- only for it to be his own.
The Dog and His Shadow
The Dog and His Shadow is a solo project I have created as one of my second year films at Norwich University of the arts. My intentions behind this project were to create a traditional slapstick cartoon, inspired by early 2000's animation with the classic cat and dog rivalry. In my attempt to attain this style of animation, I made the focus be the exaggeration of emotions and movement such as giving the main character overly dramatic responses with goofy sound effects to emphasise this. Overall I just wanted to make something silly which I would have fun making and showing friends!
