Lewis Willmore - Household Props
Hi! For my first entry into the Rookies, I'd like to showcase several props I modelled and textured for a short, LGBTQ+ student film called 'The Closet', which is about a teenage boy named Quinn and his journey in coming-out. This included a stylized laptop, soda-can, pint-glass and Sweetheart plant.

Working through several different ideas during pre-production; the directors wanted to aim for a simplistic, cartoony quality in the textures, reminiscent of Pixar's films, whilst maintaining the hard-edged surface of the props.
The props were modelled in Autodesk Maya and textured in Adobe Substance 3D Painter, before being rendered in Marmoset Toolbag 4 (glass-texture provided by Marmoset). The final film and props were rendered in Unreal Engine 5.
