Marco Autilio | Game Art Portfolio 2023
Four 3D Environments for Games developed over the last year while studying at Escape Studios. Every project was created from scratch, trying different workflows for 3D modelling, texturing, UVing, level design, lighting, blueprinting, FX and animating. Breakdowns are linked alongside.

The Facade of Normalcy - Short Noir Movie - UE5
The main goal of the project was to assemble/create a compelling environment in Unreal Engine, focusing mainly on virtual cinematography and VFX that create dark atmosphere and drama, and then produce a real time sequence with a good narrative. I went for a short B&W Noir movie inspired by classic movies of the genres.

Abandoned Italian Village - UE5
My first 3D Environment developed during the Game Art Production course at Escape Studios of London (UK). The idea was to explore a small square of an abandoned Italian town deliberately inspired by small villages of the Southern region of Basilicata...but then something went wrong. O_O
Motel - 3D Environment for Mobile Game - UE5
This project's main goal was to develop a "light" environment that could function on low-powered mobile hardware. In order to achieve this performance everything was designed on limited 'budget'. Low-poly geometry (tot: 300K tris), textures (1K), and a lot of modular building.

Retro Arcade 90s - UE5
Here is a personal project of an actual arcade that existed in my hometown in southern Italy during the 1990s. I decided to recreate it on Unreal Engine 5 using primarily shared memories from me and my friends who frequented the arcade during our childhood.
