Dream

Dream is one of my school assignments and also a personal project. We were asked to develop a fantastic new world of our own imagination. I first made a series of illustrations, which later developed into animation.

I want to create a new world full of fantasy and my personal style. As a frequent dreamer, I also get most of my inspiration from dreams. I want to create a world as colorful and magical as a dream through some seemingly unreasonable and non-existent objects. I used all my favorite colors and added a lot of lovely details. I want to let every audience who sees this series experience a magical journey through these small pieces of stuff.

I use illustrations to tell a story. A girl explores a fantastic new world. The snakes that lived here watched her curiously in the setting sun and the green sea. The girl was shocked by the strange eggs and colorful nature in the pink cave when she woke up. She unconsciously explored everything here but was confused by the fantasy generated by the broken egg and fell into the abyss of dreams. She saw what seemed to be a real thing, strange sea creatures flying past her, surrounded by her. She suddenly woke up only to find that everything was just a dream, a psychedelic dream made her unforgettable.

I also later developed this project into animation. Since I was telling a story with pictures, why not let them really, dynamically live?
