Hey there! I'm Lisa, currently in my last year at Howest - Digital Arts and Entertainment. For my rookies submission I wanted to share a collection showcasing my 2022-2023 journey so far! Hope you enjoy!

Skull King Valley

This was my first fully stylized scene which was an incredibly fun project to work on! It really pushed me to my abilities of creating a nice rich stylized environment in about a months time. The goal here was to achieve proper story telling with purely the environment itself and I am really happy with how it turned out!

Every asset except for 2 dirt textures were fully made by me. Everything was sculpted using Zbrush and most assets were then handpainted too while some received some extra work in Substance Painter. I learned so much more about Unreal with this project.

This work was heavily influenced by the lovely piece by Lone Mapper which you can find here. Be sure to check out their work!

Procedural Hand Painted Texturing - In the style of Ruined King

This piece is in its final stages at the moment but I wanted to give a little snippet of how it looks!

Here I wanted to test the capabilities of generators and filters in Substance Painter to see how close I could possibly get to a certain art style, which ended up being Ruined King for this project!

All assets here were made by me. Sculpted in Zbrush and baked in Substance Painter. With the research done on this project, I can now attempt to achieve other artstyles in a short amount of time due to the flexability of these generators and filters.

Nym'thea Dawnwalker

Though I may be an environment artist, I like to work on characters as small side projects! Here's my take on the wonderful character that belongs to the amazing Feaqu! It was an absolute joy to work on this and improve my hand painted texturing.

As with many of my projects, I like to stick as closely to the original piece in style and am thrilled with how nicely this came out. This was fully sculpted and poly painted in Zbrush, retopo in 3DS Max and baking with some final texture adjustments made in Substance Painter.
