My finished project for advanced character modeling with Hussian College.
This project was for my advanced Character Modeling class with Hussian College. The assignment was to create a model based on the provided concept art, while utilizing our own reference photos.
The high reolution version of the model was sculpted the high res in ZBrush, all the retopology and other low resolution details were done in Maya, and texturing was done with Substance Painter.
Though it was not necessary for the assignment, I rigged her with the "auto rig" feature in maya. After the basic pose was achieved, I adjusted her fingers so they would grasp her hammer.
Here is the original A-pose, with front, side, 3/4, and back views.
Here are a few texturing details. I worked with substance to create believable bruising, cuts, freckles, and dirt.
