Hello, my name is Andrea, I am an environment artist and I am entering the contest with two projects that I did during the last year. ¡Thank you so much!
My name is Andrea Banda, I'm in my last year of Videogame Art master at UA School. For Rookies 2023, I have decided to show two of my last works that I did during this year.
MEETING ROOM ITALIAN MAFIA 70 S
This environment is inspired by a meeting room of the Italian mafia of the 70s. The place conveys a sense of opulence and decadence characteristic of the time. The room reflects a clandestine world with a contrast between the world of crime and galactic fantasy. The unkempt and dirty look of the environment adds a touch of realism and authenticity to the atmosphere.
Use Unreal Engine 5, Maya and Substance painter to build this environment, implement vertex paint technique and apply various materials. Design the structure in a modular way and create most of the assets for this environment. Also incorporate some megascan assets to add detail to the environment.

INSIDE NEW YORK
This environment was created to convey a sense of fear. It is inspired by the New York subway, as if something terrible had happened and when you open your eyes you find yourself there.
It was also done in Unreal 5 with the help of Maya and Substance painter. To create this subway car I created the modular assets was quite fun and I really liked adding the blood, playing with the cameras and lights. I hope you liked it, thank you very much!
