Here are some of my Character and Costume Designs. I also write stories for films and games. I'm a mostly self-taught Concept Art student with a background in Graphic and Industrial Design. I can't wait to have my professional debut within a company's team!

Finding an original Character Design to fit my game world/story and an interesting system to let her/you fly through the game

Character Costume Development

A personal exploration of Qi'ra, played by Emilia Clarke in Solo: a Star Wars Story.

MY BRIEF:

Imagine a costume development for Qi'ra: from Crimson Dawn lieutenant (retaining the organization's circular/arch symbol) to Darth Maul disciple.  How can we make her attire look closer to the one of a Sith Lord but still keeping her design unique and different from the rest of the hooded guys on the Dark Side?

I believe she would retain her seductress appeal as just another tool on the way to power.

Character Card Reinterpretation

This is an exercise realized during a weekend art workshop.

BRIEF

Choose a character from Greek mythology and reinterpret it.  Make use of thumbnail studies to find an interesting visual composition.

I chose Persephone, who the god Hades kidnapped and kept with him in the Underworld for 6 months a year because she ate 6 pomegranate seeds. In my twist, Persephone isn't a victim but rather a seductress, willingly swallowing the forbidden fruit.

BRIEF

Create original characters living on a hippy farm. Stay true to the given personality brief. Try to make their attitude and story manifest through their outfits and posture. React to feedback and make changes while the script develops.

Creating  a dystopian future scenario, a recognizable sci-fi main character and illustrate one of the first important story beats

Create an action beat with atmosphere and drama: "in an abandoned and ruined alien city, overgrown by thick swamp, the hero is facing off a huge forest creature" 

Avatar Creation for a Game

Personal experiment

MY BRIEF

Initially, I just wanted to create an Avatar that represented me as a digital artist in a whimsical way. Her "arrows" are Red, Green and Blue crayons, representing the RGB colours of digital images.

Finally, I'd love to turn this concept into a game where animal-human hybrid characters created by the players fight to win: the players will be shooting their arrows (crayons/pens/colour spray) not to each other but all over the level assets (city/forest etc). Every arrow will change the drawing- and architectural-style of what it hits into the player's favourite style. E.g. you may have an alternative street art and post-apocalyptic landscape lover against a minimalist architecture fan, both trying to take the same city. Think Splatoon but with art and lifestyles instead of colours: an irreverent battle of visual taste!
