The animation short film "Shades" was brought to life by a talented team of sophomore students. With innocence as his guiding light, Karim embarks on a poignant journey in search of his beloved feline companion, Naji. Through the rubble-strewn streets of the war-torn city.
Shades is a modest yet charming animation short brought to life through the collective efforts of six dedicated sophomore students from DigiPen. Over a span of four months, the team collaborated to create this delightful project.

Characters
These characters are meticulously crafted with gentle, rounded shapes, symbolizing the essence of innocence that persists amidst such harrowing circumstances. This intentional design choice accentuates the stark contrast between the innocence of childhood and the harsh realities of war, evoking a profound sense of empathy within viewers.
