Private Moon

In a mystery-laden dreamscape of moon and mountains,

Lonely moon floats, surrounded by fountains.

In an atmosphere of intrigue and allure,

Its flickering light on the sea does gleam pure.

I was inspired by the artist Leonid Tishkov. He created a series of photographs named Private Moon, a visual poem telling the story of a man who met the Moon and stayed with her for the rest of his life.

Therefore, I created a matte painting with a moon, giving it dynamic effects in Nuke.

The Virtuous Queen of Han

Wei Zifu is a virtuous empress, and the first empress who committed suicide in Chinese history as well. This film tells the story of her tragic life.
I use a Chinese-style animation to tell her life, hoping to show her psychological changes from the longing and confusion when she entered the palace to the despair when she committed suicide. It also shows the social background of the time; the social system was unfair to women. Ancient women were as fragile as a fluttering gauze, never knowing where their lives would end.
