Some of the experiments lead to the creation of various mutants and unverving creatures, the last of these was Alain, now a shell of her former self.

This specimen, a friendly crab, had an unusual amount of calcium growth that manifested as crystals all over their body.
Secret laboratory - Alain's room:
Originally designed for medicine practices, it soon become a room for containtment, She became too aggresive towards the staff that created her.
Short-range weapon - Kauf B-200:
Ryu-kun's favorite gun, built in Germany and with a custom hand-paint pattern from Japan. The "Kanji" meaning "Snake", he bragged about how it gave him strength.
Last generation automatic assault rifle, its the preferred model by public and private strike forces, It contains an special AI that warns the user about its biggest flaw: usual overheating. Thus, only suitable for brief skirmishes in small spaces.
Unay Welsh, a reporter and photographer that has been working for a natural enviroment magazine for 10 years, is sent to south-americans swamps in a last attempt to save the company, he would be there for 3 months to frame the region in a new light.
After a month and a half he recives a sudden call from his mother, her sister died. Unay has now to choose between going back to attend her funeral, or stay in line to end the job and save the company.
