Collection of 3D Environments
A collection of Environments I made in DAE 2022 - 2023. This year I really discovered my passion for environment art, especially for lighting and set dressing. It goes hand in hand with my love for photography.
Monstera Energy Plant
For this environment project, we were tasked with creating a SCI-FI environment using Unreal Engine 5 (UE5). This was my first experience working with UE5, and the main objective was to become familiar with its features and tools. We focused on creating modular assets, lighting, level design, and level decoration.
To add a personal touch, wanted to incorporate my love for plants and organic shapes into the futuristic aesthetic. By combining the two I aimed to create a different and unique take on the theme. I had a lot of fun working on this project.
These are the only assets I used to create the environment. I worked creatively with a single trimsheet and by clipping and using the basic shapes as building blocks.
The Ruins
For this environment project, I created an outdoor ruin in Unreal Engine 5 (UE5). It was my first time working on an outdoor environment. We focused on scattering foliage, using Quixel, and combining lighting and composition to create guiding lines.
Rustic Bedroom
for this environment project I worked with baked lighting in Unreal Engine 5. For the lightbake method I used GPU. I created a dithering shader so the blinds can still appear translucent while keeping the benefits of the GPU baking.
I had a lot of fun exploring the art of interior decoration and understand how different elements such as assets, textures, lighting, and colors work together to create a specific mood and atmosphere.
