Antonio Piñero - Concept Art 2023

"Spirit's duty" is a project I've been working on for the past three weeks, a charming group of charismatic adventurers, whose goal is to reclaim the kingdom that was taken from them and discover new companions along the way.

Erika, the joy

Erika is a descendant of the royal family of Ajhenia and heir to the throne, traveling with her sister all her life without being recognized, her duty is to recover her kingdom with the help of her sister and companions who are on the way.

The goal with the design was to create something different but that people could become familiar with it and be easily recognizable, the inspiration was a lot of fantasy of all kinds

Athalwin, the revered

Athalwin is a strong warrior, the only one accepted by the spirit of the tiger, protecting her sister Erika since she was little. Her greatest ambition is to be able to take revenge on the murderer of her family.

In this concept I worked on the sketch I did for Erika, and the process was very fast and enjoyable.

Henning, the Sevilar

Of the multiple races of Ajhenia, Henning is a Sevilar, nomad, noble, and a great friend of the spirits, his role in the group is to take care of the camp and make sure that everyone is doing well 

Vivik & Nibbles

Although Vivik looks like an ordinary human, she comes from a very ancient race of humanoids who lived in peace with nature and whose magical power was overwhelming. Like her ancestors, she is connected to nature in a special way.

Designing these two was the most fun part of the project, being able to create a character that transmits happiness makes me happy at the same time, and what better than next to a small adventure companion!

Prop design

Whisper of royalty, is a crossbow designed for combat both at short and long distance, and has a very fast reloading system, allowing you not to run out of arrows.

The design is thought of a bird, implying its great speed and attack capacity.

Characters based on Theseus mithology: Hippolyta, Hades and The Minotaur!

Creature design

A peaceful creature whose defense mechanism is its large and powerful tail, and the spores it carries capable of releasing toxic substances.
