Thanks for looking at my profile! Three of these were created during my Year 3 Game Art course at the University of South Wales. The third project was created after but as a way to keep me motivated and modelling. For more check out my Artstation: https://www.artstation.com/dianafinley

Campground Study

Time: September 2018 - May 2019

Tools: 3ds Max, Substance Painter/Designer/B2M, SpeedTree UE4, Photoshop, Unreal Engine 4

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As an avid camper and lover of the outdoors, I created this environment to push myself as an Environment artist. I pulled inspiration from the TV series Alone, focusing on the idea that someone is isolated and living off the land. I really enjoyed learning SpeedTree and Unreal Engine 4 during this project and love how the final product turned out.

Fish Bowl

Time: 1 Week

Tools: 3ds Max, Zbrush, Substance Painter, Rendered in IRAY

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I made this Fish Bowl scene as a mini project. I wanted to do a small, quick environment and make it into one small prop to be put into a scene in the future.

Leonardo da Vinci Tank

Time: 1 Week

Tools: 3ds Max, Substance Painter, Unreal Engine 4, Photoshop

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

National Museum Cardiff hosted the Leonardo da Vinci exhibit for 3 months and our course put on a contest to help promote the exhibition. We could choose any invention or anatomy study and change it to our liking. I chose the tank and tried to make it Zombie Apocalypse style. Very run down but still able to work.

Mobile Game Mock Screen Shots

Time: 6 Weeks

Tools: 3ds Max, Substance Painter, Unreal Engine 4, Photoshop

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

For this 6 week project, we were asked to choose an IP from a set list and either do a set of Mock Screenshots or Cover Art. I chose the classic game Operation and made it a mobile racing game on ios. This was a good project to get back into the flow of working and it was the project that help reaffirm my love of Environment Art.

I'd like to thank the University for putting together such a great course and the great tutors we had to teach us and guide us to produce such great work. As well as helping us develop the confidence to go on into industry. I wouldn't be here entering without their time and effort they put into making the course so successful.
