These are creature designs that I made using a 3D and 2D workflow. I used Zbrush and Maya for the 3D objects and Photoshop to add colour and more details. I also used a lot of photo-bashing.

Village Creature - Lantern Lighter
For this project the CDW Studios students were given a brief to follow: we needed to design a creature that lived in a wooden village within a magical forest, and they also needed to have a job in this village. They also listed some movies that they wanted us to get inspirations from such as Alice in Wonderland, Labyrinth and Spirited Away.
Cassowary Cyclops
For this project the students were told to design either a troll, orc or cyclops. This cyclops is based on the Australian cassowary bird.
Demon Lion
For this project we needed to sculpt a creature from a myth. There was a demon lion creature in the myth I chose, so I decided to sculpt it for my project.
