3D Environments

I always wanted to do a 3D environment based on Indian architecture. But I was never confident enough because I was not very good at modeling and also didn't enjoy. But sometime ago I found out Mickael Riciotti's artstation and saw his artworks. I was blown away and also got super motivated. So I finally decided to do something based on Varanasi.  I had a lot of inspiration from Mickael Riciotti's Art.

I modelled and shaded all the buildings and boats. Only the trees and some small props were outsourced. The Modeling part was done inside blender. Shading and rendering was done inside 3ds max with Vray.

This one was inspired from star wars and also some of the composition decision came from watching Steven Cormann's artworks. 

This was more of a scene assembly project. Half of the assets were outsourced and others I modelled by myself. Trees were from Speedtree.

All the 3D part was done inside blender and composited in Nuke. The Background was a Matte painting.
