Language barrier
Welcome to Language Barrier where you play as a foreigner entering a Japanese game show. This game is a 2D text-based escape room game where you must find the translation for the objects in the room. To escape, you must answer questions by translating the words.
Features
6 Levels in Total
Inventory
Collect translations and add them to your notes or inventory. Open them anytime by typing "note" to view and listen to audio.
Help System
Unsure? Type "Help" to open the help menu at the cost of losing more time.
Quiz Time
Type the English translation written on the door. Remember to open your notes for references.
Objective
While in the room, type anything you see (except walls and floors) in the text box and receive a translation. Once done, proceed to the door by typing "door" in the textbox and answer the question on the screen. You have unlimited tries.
The game has 6 stages with a 20 minutes time limit and the game is over when the timer reaches 0. You can always open the help menu or inventory to check for translations.

-Back (Return to the current room while in the door room)
