My 3D Animation Beginnings
This is my first year participating in the Rookie Awards! I'm still learning, and I don't have a lot of animations to show so I decided to make a compilation about my progress. All the animations are made from the beginning of 2022 until now, so I hope that in the following years I can learn much more!
This compilation contains a total of 6 different projects that I will explain in the same order as they appear in the video:
Animum Module 1:
This was my first time doing animations with the tutoring of a professional animator. We worked on the 12 animation principles with differents models going from easier to harder ones.
Animum Module 2:
This module was focused on body mechanics, and we made a character complexity progression to get ready for the next module and full-body animations.
We started with Bolo (big head and two legs), then with Marianico (full body but no arms), and finally with a complete character.
The Chase:
This was my first animation ever. I made it with the help of the Blender Animation Course from Dillon Goo and I learned a lot from it.
I didn't place it at the beginning of the video because I consider that for starters the exercises that I made in Module 1 and 2 are more important.
The Duty:
This was my bachelor's final degree assignment where I had to make a game in Unity by myself. I didn't have much time, but I ended satisfied with the final result. All the animations and programming are made by me.
Project Zed:
This was an university project where I had to create an animatied character from a blueprint. I modeled with Zbrush, textured with Substance and rigged and animated with Maya.
Animum Module 3:
This is the module that I am currently working, and I only did the first 2 animations of this one.
It is focused on videogames animations, so I'm very excited of what comes next!
