HELLO THERE!

Welcome to my personal page! I'm Davide, a 28-year-old Italian guy who has embarked on an exciting adventure at School-ing in Madrid.

Join me as I proudly unveil the results of my exploration into the captivating world of architectural visualization.

Through this presentation, my intention is to share with you my initial steps as a new 3D artist and offer you a glimpse into my creative pursuits. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the showcase of my journey.

MY FIRST (baby) STEPS.

Welcome to my debut collection! Here, I invite you to explore the starting point of my journey at School-ing. Within these examples, you'll find exercises that have been instrumental in my growth, teaching me the art of image composition, the magic of lighting, and the power of colors.

MY FIRST REAL PROJECT.

For my very first project as a 3D artist, I drew inspiration from the use of organic shapes in Florian Busch Architects' House in the Forest.

Using 3DSMAX, I recreated the entire scene, from the geometry to the materials. I carefully selected the lights and HDRI to set the equilibrium between nature and humans. To enhance the surroundings, I used  ITOO software to create a detailed forest.

While this may not be my finest project, I take pride in calling it my starting point. It holds a special place for me as I reflect on my journey as a 3D artist

GETTING INSIDE: MY FIRST INTERIOR PROJECT

For my first interior project, I took inspiration from the Renovation of a Milan Laboratory to a Family Loft by Tomoarchitects. I was particularly attracted by the concept of renovating while giving lights to the antique details of the original building such as the wooden roof and the brick wall.

This project was a challenge for me as I had to create renderings with high detail for materials and illumination. Thanks to the power of 3ds Max and V-Ray, I brought this vision to life.

DIVING INTO THE WORLD OF COMPETITIVE ARCHITECTURAL VISUALS.

Explore this intriguing project inspired by a hospital, where I took on a larger and more intricate challenge. Navigating through scenes, cameras, and the post-production process presented thrilling obstacles. I also delved into the realm of matte painting and post-production techniques. one of the biggest challenge was to merge people in the images. thankfully photoshop is the best tool to do this.

LET'S SHARE A MEAL!

In my second project as an interior designer, I decided to draw inspiration from the enchanting Munhwa Bistro Seong-su in South Korea, designed by Indiesalon. It was a delightful experience for me to recreate the unique atmosphere of this bistro, focusing and modelling the irregular tables that define its charm. With careful attention to detail, I played with lighting techniques and skillfully maneuvered the camera to capture the essence of the space.

LAST BUT NOT LEAST!

At the moment I'm working at a new project but it's still a secret so I want to leave you with a small gallery of some of my last mattepaintings with photoshop.

WHAT'S NEXT?

As I approach the end of my classes, I can't help but reflect on the incredible journey I've had in architectural visualization. What started as a curiosity has become a passion that exceeds my expectations. The world of architectural visualization has captivated my imagination and fueled my desire to explore further.

During my time at Schooling, I've learned and grown with each project and challenge. Today, I present my work to you with gratitude for the opportunity to showcase my progress.

Although I'm still a student, I've dedicated myself to each project and infused innovation and creativity into my work. I believe these are essential for advancement in this field.

Looking forward, I'm excited to join a specialized studio where I can continue to learn and grow under experienced mentors. My goal is to push boundaries, explore new possibilities, and make a lasting impact in architectural visualization.

I'm grateful for my fellow classmates and especially Eduardo and Adán for their invaluable mentorship. Their guidance has shaped me as an artist.

In conclusion, I hope my work resonates with you, reflecting the passion and dedication I've put into each project. I eagerly anticipate the future, knowing there is still much to learn, explore, and create. Thank you for this opportunity, and I look forward to what lies ahead.
