Integrated Product Design - The Rookies 2019
These two projects represent my journey to becoming a better designer. Horn dates back a few years, but today I would not change anything. Tama is more recent and it is the result of my in-depth studies as self-taught in the 3D concept and product presentation. Thank you for this opportunity. Enjoy!
TamagotchiAR
I made this project while I brainstorming about possible evolutions of the Augmented Reality technology. It is a 3D concept of a futuristic version of the toy, which challenged me in alternating hard surface and organic modeling.
Horn
I designed Horn three years ago, when I was attending the second year of Product Design at university. The aim of the course was to design a sawhorse following three key words; I chose wildness, lightness and organic. It was also required to build a prototype to verify the stability and to develop crafting skills. The rotomoulding technology would be appropiate for the horn-legs production, while laser cutting would be a better choice for the lion-leg. The assembly of the three parts consists on the use of two screws and threaded inserts.
