My first year of archviz!

MY FIRST YEAR OF ARCHVIZ

Here I will show you a summary of my first year as a student of Architectural Visualization at YRGO in Gothenburg, Sweden. Hope you like it!

URBAN ARCHITECTURE

This project was in collaboration with pixelflakes. We got to work with one of their old projects which was visualizations for Kirklees Cultural Heart, located in Huddersfield in the UK. We got to take part of all the materials provided by the client. This included Revit models and documents with all information. I decided to capture a part of the museum and also the end of the park.

This visualization is made in 3Ds max with V-ray rendering, post production in Photoshop. Project started 13th of April and deadline was 3rd of May. 2023.

THE VILLA

The brief was to model a house from existing drawings and place it in a scandinavian environment. 

In this project we were told to only use 3Ds max and have a minimal impact from photoshop. This was also our first time working with V-ray, Forest pack and Railclone.Project started 14th of February and deadline was 2nd of March 2023.

THE CHAIR

The brief for this project was to model a chair based on an already existing design. This chair is called MK-16 folding chair, also called the safari chair, made by Mogen Koch 1932.

I made this chair in 3Ds Max with Corona rendering, post production in Photoshop. The project started 22nd of November and deadline was 2nd of December 2022.

THE RENOVATION

In this project we got to get out on the market to search for a fixer upper and vizualise a renovation with the existing structure.

This visualisation is made in 3Ds Max with Corona rendering, post production in Photoshop. The project started 27th of October and deadline was 11th of November 2022.

ABSTRACT

The brief for this project was to find an artwork and create an abstract studio picture based on it. My choice was an artwork made by the swedish artist Lars Lerin and you can find this piece of art in his own book Naturlära.

This visualization is made in 3Ds Max with Corona rendering, post production in Photoshop. The project started 6th of October and deadline was 20th of October 2022.

MATTE PAINTING

Brief - create a simple 3D building and compose an eye catching picture.

I created the building in 3Ds max without materials and everything else is made in Adobe photoshop with different images. This project started 7th of March and deadline was 16th of March 2023.
