Problem Statement

Common Problem of city people

With the rapid development of modern society, people whom living in the cities, paced of life of cities people are getting faster. Based on this situation, we can realize urban people lead a fast-moving lifestyle. Which is mean urban people usually will easily ignore things around them. In addition, urban people live in an environment where everything has to pursue of speed, the mental stress will also be increase.

Design Proposal

The idea of the space will be focus on how to made people feel calm while they stay in the hotel. As we know Malaysia has been colonized by Japan for a few years, Malaysian already have some basic understanding about Japan. In addition, Japan culture also similar with us, so new generation of Malaysian, they are also reached a lot of culture related to Japan such as Animation, TV series, Music, etc. Even many Malaysian project start to introduce Zen architecture which represent calmness and simplicity with raw and sustainable material. Hence, this resort are aimed to encourage people appreciate raw &natural beauty around us.

As a inspiration of Japanese architecture form, is a equal and squarish shape of a space. In the space we are not only can see a equal shape only, we also can see the beauty of Japanese architecture. The idea like an empty box, which is full of craftsmanship such as the jointing part of each structure of wood and objects can be connected without any nails The characteristics of Japanese-style high-mobility space, even if it is a single small space, after opening all the doors, it will become a super large space, rich in connectivity and high interaction otherwise will be the same. The space will not be limited even through it’s a box form,every flow will be connected smoothly.
