Robot Pirates on the Beach
This is my 3D interpretation of "The pirates on the beach" by Dofresh. I completed this Foundation Term final project as a student at Think Tank Training Centre.
-Process-
I started this project by setting up a camera and reference image plane in Autodesk Maya. I created an initial block-out and temporarily included some content browser content to assist with the final positioning, scale, and proportions. I then completed the hard surface modeling and UVs within Maya and sculpted the rocks in Zbrush. Afterward, I moved to Adobe Substance 3D Painter to complete the surfacing stage. I rendered the final scene using Vray. I illustrated the sky using Procreate for iPad and then composited the sand onto the render using Adobe Photoshop.
