Timi the alpaca

To start, here are the references I used. Some cute and sometimes funny alpaca. We also had to study the bones and muscles system of our animal to have "realistic" proportions and thus remake them in a simpler and more logical way in 3D. However, the 3D project finally focused on his head only.

And here is the final concept of Timi, his turn, his squeleton and muscle system and his expressions.

The goal being to study and reproduce his fur, here are the researches of direction, texture, color and global shape that I could realize on all his body.

Now is the time to bring him to life. Here is the sculpt made on blender and the retopo on maya. Then, here is Timi and his hair made with XGen interactive on Maya. And finally the render with his textured hair and lighting.
