John and Krissy

This year, I worked on the short film Bulliator. It was a six weeks project in team with: Corentine Dereli, Maxime Verclytte, Gaëlle Pandraux, Germain Joulaud, Marine La Villa and Noa Rosa C.

It tells the story of Krissy, a rebel kid who bully her father with her plastic gun!

Here are the concepts I made for the movie and the 3D result of krissy!

I made the concept art, sculpt, modeling, texturing, look development, shading and rendering of Krissy with zbrush, maya, renderman, mari, mudbox and substance painter.

Child's Soul

Child's Soul is my first short film I made during my second year in ESMA.

It tells the story of an old man trapped in a monotonous black and white world who would like to find his child's soul back.

I worked on every aspects: scenario, concept art, modeling, sculpt, lighting, texturing, animation, look development, rendering, compositing, FX, editing and music (except the modeling and the rigging of the character made by Jordan Rivet).

LOST CIVILIZATION

Here is a concept art I made during my 2nd year in Esma. We had to create a matte painting with a huge statue, to paint and then to animate it. I imagined a lost civilization organised around this statue. It is a metaphore of a fictive society. The poors hardly carry and elevate the richest and most powerful people.

RESEARCHES

Here are some tests of different compositions, lightscripts and colorscripts. I also made some studies of the statue. The statue I chose to draw was the tuscan angel sculpture "remembrance and redemption". I have aslo been inspired by Thomas Dubois painting style for this concept art.
