May the Force be with you! ✨
A tribute of Ralph McQuarrie’s concept of Jabba's palace. To work on this project I used my 3d skills gained in these two years, from modeling to texturing, and also layout for the final scene. I collaborated with Valentina Greggio that modeled and textured r2d2 so as not to make my c3po feel alone!
Jabba's Palace
I decided to make a tribute to the famous Ralph McQuarrie’s concept by recreating Jabba's palace, inserting my c3po model, Valentina Greggio's r2d2 and enriching the environment with a bunch of rocks taken from Quixel Megascans.
It was my first time working in a realistic environment and it was a challenge! For this project I used Maya and Zbrush for modeling, Adobe Substance 3D Painter for texturing and Arnold for rendering.
C3PO
I'd like to share c3po model I've been working on, his design is inspired by the version of episodes 3-6. For the texturing I made two different versions, a clean one and a dirt one inspired by A New Hope.
There's also a render of him with his mate r2d2, modeled by Valentina Greggio; I take this opportunity to thank her for having decided to recreate r2d2 so as not to make my c3po feel alone - if there's one thing I've learned from Star Wars it's that a travel becomes more beautiful when you are surrounded by people who are ready to support you along the way!
