My Girlfriend

Hello there! Welcome to my Rookies Award 2023 entry!

This is my first realistic human 3D modeling project, I made my girlfriend in CG. It is also the final project of my second term in Think Tank online program, I have done so many first-time in this one, such as the first time using Xgen, first time making fabric assets in Marvelous Designer, first time doing compositing with Nuke, and also I rendered my first turntable showcase video. Due to time constraints, I mainly focused on doing the parts of facial skin shading and Xgen. And in order to increase render speed, I didn't use any subsurface shading in look dev.

I did the human body modeling by using Zbrush, the dress by MD, the shoes by Maya. The base color textures of skin were hand-painted by using Substance Painter, the dress and shoes were look developed by using procedural materials in Maya. And finally, I used V-ray to render all the images.
