My beginning
Here's a glimpse of my first year at YRGO. This collection showcases my growth, skills, and dedication. Explore a variety of projects that reflect my passion for visualization.
Urban Architecture
We teamed up with Pixelflakes for our latest school project and gained access to all the materials, floor plans, and Revit models for Kirklees Cultural Heart. Our goal was to create a vibrant social environment in the heart of the city. I chose to highlight the park, where you can see the pulse of the city in motion.
Modeling
In this modeling assignment, I chose to recreate the Safari chair designed by Kaare Klint using 3ds Max and Corona Renderer. The Safari chair is a classic piece of furniture known for its simple and elegant design, and I was excited to take on the challenge of recreating it in a 3D modeling program.
Using reference images and measurements of the chair, I began building the model in 3ds Max. I started with the basic shape of the chair and then added in the details such as the armrests, legs, and seat cushion. One of the biggest challenges was getting the proportions and curves of the chair just right, as it is a very distinctive design.
Once the model was complete, I applied materials to it using the Corona Renderer. I chose a leather material for the seat cushion and a wood material for the frame of the chair. I also added in lighting and adjusted the camera angle to create a realistic and visually appealing final render.
Overall, this modeling assignment was a great opportunity to hone my skills in 3D modeling and rendering while also learning more about the design and construction of a classic piece of furniture.
The renovation project
For this renovation project, we scoured Hemnet to find a dilapidated house in need of some serious renovation. Once I found the perfect candidate, I took the original blueprints and set to work building a 3D model of the house using 3ds Max and Corona Renderer.
The Villa
In this project, we were tasked with building a house in 3ds Max using blueprints provided to us. I set to work creating a 3D model of the house, paying close attention to the details and dimensions outlined in the blueprints.
One of the challenges I faced was ensuring that the model was structurally sound and that all of the components fit together properly. I also had to make sure that the model was visually appealing and that it accurately represented the design of the house.
Once the 3D model was complete, I used Vray to render the house.
