Hello everyone! I'm Lorenzo, a student at Skyup Academy, and today I want to present my latest two completed projects. The first one is a diorama, while the second one is a creature created by me solely on ZBrush. My main interest lies in digital sculpting, and I hope to specialize in this field.

DIORAMA

based on the magnificent diorama created by PetitPetit. I loved sculpting the details especially all the bread and painting each one with care. Below I show my processes from the blocking to final modeling!

Here all the 4 lights used:

All the organic elements were sculpted in ZBrush, then decimated and further refined in Substance Painter, both in terms of geometry and textures.

Here the renders made on substance in the final parts of the texturing

here all the reference used for the project

RONKTUL

For my second project, I had to create a chimera. I started by developing the concept on paper, then moved on to modeling with monsterclay, and finally recreated everything in ZBrush. Given my desire to specialize in sculpting, I put in my best effort, particularly when it came to adding details. The only issue was with the pose, which I couldn't adjust due to a technical error.

I had to come up with concepts on paper for three different chimeras, and this was the one that me and the teacher chose. On the left side is the initial sketch, while on the right side is a quick sketch of the pose, after that i created the maquette. This was my very first time working on a creature, and let me tell you, it was no walk in the park! The experience really put my skills to the test, but I persevered, and I'm really pleased with how it turned out!

Here is the step-by-step process of creating the elephant on ZBrush. I must admit, I began with one of the most poorly executed blockings ever! However, I persevered and managed to redeem it in the end. For its realization, I found inspiration in Cthulhu and the art of Giger.

Thank you so much for taking the time to view my post. I hope you enjoyed the content, and I look forward to sharing more creations with you in the future.
