This is my portfolio that I made this year. There are currently two projects. The first project is based on photorealism, the second one is the sculpt of a creature made in Zbrush.

In this post you will find my works that I made this year.

At first there is my project about a diorama, then the character that I made in Zbrush.

Up here, my first project about photorealism. The concept is a diorama by Yasuhiro Okugawa consisting of a house/pub and many small objects. First, I searched for references for the objects that are contained in this small scene. Then, I started modeling the objects and the house in different scenes in Maya. After that, I exported all the pieces to a single scene.

Next, I sculpted the tree in ZBrush, created the UVs, and began working on the textures. Finally, I exported the textures from Substance to Maya and rendered the final images.

TARTEGANA

My first personal concept about a chimera, made in Zbrush and rendered in Maya-VRay. Is the mix between a mouse, a turtle and an armadillo.

This creature is the mix between a turtle an armadillo and a mouse. He has got a mobile shell so is a very nimble animal but is also very safe.

Is an harmless animal but he can protect himself.

 I created my concept in 3D before sculpt it in Zbrush with the plastilin to understand the volumes and some textures.

Before the final effect and the final render i tried some different solutions for the lighting. Here some no-definitive renders.
