Hi! This is a compilation of my work as a 3rd-year Computer Animation student at Ringling College of Art and Design. I mainly focus on Look Development and Lighting, but I enjoy modeling and animation as well! I'm responsible for all aspects and I hope you enjoy!

Mibbly

my alternate persona if I hadn't made chocolate chip cookies with powdered sugar all those years ago. This is my first rig using cloth sim and second time using a joint-based Face Rig and XGen. This rig I really wanted to make the model have the same graphic nature as the painting and the way I draw.

The Mibbly Show

This animation was sort of a love letter to my favorite genre of videos on youtube and also to poke fun at one of my habits: talking to myself while I work. It was so exciting to learn and experiment with ncloth and play around with having two characters in a scene. It brought a lot of challenges but rewards as well!

some of the ref I used for the mibbly show, it really allowed me to take note and notice the small mannerisms I have, thus allowing for a good idea on how to make these characters feel more real

Mantatony

A naive prey-mantis-hybrid teenager whose about to discover his mother's guilty pleasure: his late father's head. Mantatony is my first time using a joint-based face rig as well as xGen.

when it came to landing Mantatony look, he went through a lot of renditions, especially in the hair. We eventually landed his hair design when in 3D, giving him more of a Northeastern Hockey Player flow rather than the spiky short hair he was originally drawn with.

Mantis Munchies

This animation was super educational for me. It allowed for more cartoony animation as well as learning more about weight and overall mechanics in anim. In look and modeling,  I was able to light a late-night scene in a kitchen inspired by insects.

I'm proud of what I've been able to accomplish in 2 years since starting my education in Computer Animation. Now it's off to thesis, where my partner Ellery Stocker and I are so excited to bring to life.
