Red and Blue

I am happy to share my first animated Short Film - "Red and Blue"!

In fact, it is one of my first works in animation overall. I have created it as a final work during last term of studies in Vancouver Institute of media Arts - amazing school that has become my second home during this past year of studies.

I was advised to make something that is going to inspire me throughout all the process of creating and I just had to choose the story connected with dance. It was an amazing experience! I had to make up the dance myself, film references, create designs that are going to express my love to dance in the best way possible. And I feel proud of the results, which is the most important part for me.

I love this work and even though there are tons of things for me to learn I am grateful for the experience this piece  brought into my life. It was the most hard and yet the most enjoyable time working on this project!

These are some of my favorite storyboard panels that expressed the idea and mood of my film. And I feel like I have reached that goal quite well if I may say so myself.
