Project "Print"
A deep dive into the possiblities of 3D printing for business and casual attire
When the idea for this project was developed around two months ago I did not yet know CLO3D or how to create and simulate digital clothing. I have however been sowing my own clothing for a few years now which gave me easy entry into 3D pattern making. Still, any feedback and criticism is highly appreciated to perfect this rather new skill a little more.
But without further ado - Enjoy a deepdive into 3D printing
Following the breakdown is a brief showcase of the clothing and their animations.
Simulations are done in Clo3D, Rendering in Blender.
If you made it to the end of this presentation, I can only thank you for your attention and interest. This project started right after finishing my bachelor thesis and took roughly two months.
A special thank you goes out to my cousin who put me onto the path of digital clothing as well as the entire X-Files series which I binge watched while working.
Cheers,
Christiane Sommer
