Andy Prasetyo Archviz Journey
In this entry I describe how I can get into Architectural Visualization Industry
The Beginning
My journey started from the moment I graduated high school, I was forced into college but I didn't know what major to choose.
At that time I was still looking for what was my passion, then my father advised me to take an Autocad course, after that I became interested in learning 3D software because I like it more than 2D drawings.
At first I studied SketchUp but finnaly I fallin in love to 3DS max, at that time I started to feel that I had found my passion.
The Problems
When I found my passion, I encountered many obstacles to enter the Architectural Visualization Industry.
First, learning I only have an old Laptop with core 2 duo (dual core) with 4gb RAM, I have stucked when I need to do a 3D rendering with large resolution.
Second, I am not an Architecture or Interior designer graduate, while most 3D studios require a bachelor's degree from that major. Until finally I was accepted at a small 3D studio in Bandung, that's where my journey began to know how to make a professional 3D rendering.
The Struggles
I like doing 3D modeling, shading, lighting and rendering but in my first year I still had a hard time mastering it.
At that time I only knew Vray as a rendering engine for 3ds max, in my opinion it was a bit difficult to control the quality of Vray, because I was still a newbie here.
I feel that my skills are not up to international standards, so I try to find a community to answer my curiosity about 3D, until I meet many people who are experts in 3D rendering and help me how to become a great 3D Artist.
The Solutions
Everyone who has just started learning any skill must have obstacles the same thing as me,
The solution is you have to be patient and consistent in learning, to achieve big things you have to determine small wins every day, every week, every month and every year.
Believe in yourself, you can achieve it,
The limit is in only in your mind,
Always know what your goals and write in the lists what you have to do.
Thanks for reading until here, let's go to the artworks. :)
