Dragon Slayer
This is my submission for the mentorship project at Think Tank. This took me longer than I anticipated, but finally it is now done. Since we had quite some time to do this, I sculpted the entire character from a sphere rather a using a base mesh which helped in improving my anatomy. It took me some time to understand what some of the props were and how I wanted to translate them to 3D. Once the highpoly was done, I used a base mesh from 3D scanstore for a cleaner mesh and used a skin texture and displacment pack from scanstore too. Later added some additional details in Zbrush for the final result. For the hair, intially I wanted to do hair cards but I just couldn't reach the result I wanted, so I decided to just go with xGen geo exporting as an alembic file. Hair cards are not my forte yet, but gonna keep working on them.
