Concept World - The Crown of Inberia

This is my final Project that I made during my time in 3Dsense, I was tasked with making an original IP and build all the elements for it as if it was to be made into a videogame and presented into a video format. So I created “The Crown of Inberia” taking inspiration from the lore of The Lord of the Rings, the artistic style of League of legends and the open world of elden ring and genshin impact.

This is a collection of Illustrations and sketches that I made for the final part of my IP “The crown of Inberia” in 3dsense Media School.

Main Covers
I wanted to show the tragedy and the struggle of the story using both of them with compositions inspired by some dramas and videogame covers.

Thumbnails Exploration for Covers
These were the thumbnails I explored for making the covers, experimenting with different formats.

Character Exploration
These were the initial sketches that I use to explore how my characters would look like in their daily lives. I picked some of these as storyboards for the demoreel and turned them into proper illustrations.

Ashes of War

This is a personal project focused on some character designs of a special operations team inspired by "Ghost in the Shell" and "Cyber Punk 2077" for a Valorant/Overwatch style shooting game. Made it in my personal time in months since graduation.

Dusk - Veteran Soldier

This is my take for the main character. Dusk is a veteran soldier, a berseker style fighter specialised in close quarters who trust more in his muscles and his brute force to punch his way out of any situation. He might be impatient and stubborn, but his experience has made him an extremely efficient and sharp soldier with a strong tactical knowledge. However, he lacks creativity or intelligence for strategic planning and does not have the greatest observation skills.

Amber - Sharp Shooter

The second character, Amber, is a sharp shooter specialised in reconnaisance, spying, and counter-intelligence operations. She is an extremely patient and intelligent woman that graduated frist from the military. Although she used to work alone and struggle getting along with Dusk, she has an outstanding awareness and far reaching observation skills and range. Paired with some of the great planning abilities, Amber is an invaluable asset in any mission.

Process and Initial Sketches

I approached each character independently until I found a silhouette that would fit their description. Then, I placed them together to choose the colours and shape language for their outfit before I started adding secondary elements and details.
