Wild Wild Waste
A short film/game cutscene done for a project class in school. Directed by Hazel PHUA, Xavier TAN, ANG Xue Li, Darrell TANG, Kent Louis BORBON, Reuben TAN, and HENG Hwee Yee.
Wild Wild Waste
A hunter, Lynn, arrives at an abandoned gas station to hunt down a dangerous beast.
The idea of this short film was to create a game cinematic/cutscene players would typically see right before a boss battle.
The story takes place in the middle of the desert at an abandoned gas station named Gecko Gas. A crash site can be found at the back of the station, involving a semi carrying toxic materials. The radiation found in the area is suspected to be the source of mutations in the local wildlife. Due to sightings, Lynn has taken up the opportunity to track and hunt down a potential threat.

Final Thoughts
The film was rendered in Unreal Engine 5.1 and we mainly used Autodesk Maya for modelling, rigging, and animation.
We are proud of what we have managed to accomplish and how much we have learned from the project.
We hope you enjoy watching it!
