The Vases that Inspired Me
A collection of two contemporary rooms inspired by vases I modeled a few months back. This was a personal project, I really liked how these two unique vases turned out, I really wanted to display them in a way that reflected their individual look and style.
"Stay Sharp" - Contemporary Room Design - Vase Inspiration #1
The inspiration for this room came from the little vase you see on the table below. I modeled this vase months ago, and wondered to myself "If I was to put this vase into a room... what kind of room would it be?" Which is what sparked the design and direction for the room. I wanted to create a room that reflected the energy of the vase. Something Sleek, sharp, sexy and modern. While at the same time, I still wanted the viewer to feel hints of warmth throughout. I believe I was able to achieve my desired goal, creating a dynamic space with pops of interest throughout.
All 3D models were modeled, textured and rendered by me, Hannah Whittingham.

"Stay In" - Contemporary Room Design - Vase Inspiration #2
Just like with my previous piece, the design for this room is inspired around the vase you see on the side table below. Unlike the sleek and sexy vibe of the previous room, I wanted the energy of this room to feel more relaxing, warm, light and comfortable - with unique pieces throughout. Which is why I chose a very earthy colour scheme, placing very round furniture throughout the room. I would most certainly love to spend an afternoon reading a book in this space, so I think I achieved my desired affect.
All 3D models were modeled, textured and rendered by myself, Hannah Whittingham, EXCLUDING the models outside the window, in the backyard. Tree and rock models were sourced from QuixelBridge.
