Fortune Favours The Brave
"A worn out robot used for battle that has been neglected for ages is now back to work"
Update - 7 Apr 2023
Fortune Favour The Brave, a worn out robot that has been working for ages. Made in US for battle, the scratches was a result from thousands of battle with other robots.
Inspired by Marvel posters!
Front, back, and side render with an outdoor lighting to show more of the details as well as a simple background to focus on the character.
Small details of the robot, please zoom in for more details!
These are the references I used for the texture. I wanted to create realistic a worn out look because for me it looks more interesting. Sometimes I also take a look at transformer and marvel robots as a reference.
I would like to thank you TheRookies for the opportunity as well as Autodesk for the amazing support!

Favourite so far, loving the lighting and how the details show. But I might want to tone down the glossiness on this one.. though the oily look is interesting as well!

Here are my Maps made in Foundry Mari for the textures. I was inspired by an old war robot that has been working for ages. Scratches, rusts, burn marks, moss, edgewear, dust, are my main ideas for this old robots.
A change of heart for the lighting, I was thinking of something dramatic, but after reviewing it again the Dramatic one doesn't show much of the textures. So I decided to put a simple pose that shows the details of the texture, as well as a calm lighting suits for film.

This is the base color for my RIG.B contest. I was thinking of a color that can catch people attention and after some thoughts I decided that yellow would be a great choice! It does remind me of bumblebee of course! My favourite character in the series!
The lighting test using HDRI as the base. So far I like number one the best for the drama and vibes but at the same time I'm afraid that it won't show much of the texture details since the shadow is too dark. But we will see how it goes.
