A year of change

Presentation

Hello everyone. I am an architect but I have always been passionate about architectural visualization. Immediately after graduation I started working as an architect but I always felt incomplete. So,after three years in a design studio, I realized that what I really wanted to do, was the 3d artist and work in the field of architectural visualization, to tell an architectural project through images. So I quit my job as an architect and started studying again to pursue my dream. The images you will see are the result of the course at the academy and some exercises done during the last year. I hope you like them.

A NATURAL PLACE IN THE CITY CENTER

The images you will see below are part of my thesis work done last year for the master in architectural visualization. 

The goal of the work was to recreate a world-famous architecture. I decided to focus my attention on this beautiful house designed by the studio Shieh Arquitetos Associados in the quiet town of Vinhedo SP. of Brazil.

What struck me about this building are the simple shapes and the wise use of natural materials. 

The 4 pavilions that make up the structure are also distributed around a central courtyard that becomes the genius loci of the house and that gives the feeling of being immersed in nature even if we are in the city.

The building consists of four pavilions interconnected with their own specific function: a barbecue area, a living room, bedrooms and an indoor pool. The pavilions are distributed around a central courtyard that is visible from all the rooms favoring the contact between nature and structure.

To accomplish this work, I used the following software:

DT APARTMENT _ interior design project

LAMPS COMPOSITION

The next images come from the desire to test my modeling skills on a product model. The protagonist of the scene is a famous chandelier from the collection of "Fontana Arte" company that I tried to recreate. 

In the scene were inserted different lamps that will compose the main lighting of the room.

- V-Ray
