Update - 22 Mar 2023

Hello, I present my final entry to the animation and VFX categories, I share this video in both categories because it is the final result of the entire process where animation and VFX come together with the Texturing work to obtain this movie. My first goal was the Texturing category, but I really enjoyed these 2 animation and VFX categories, and the ultimate goal was to have something 100% finished so I could add it to my portfolio. Thanks for the comments and feedback provided, I hope to be able to participate in other contests and grow as a professional.

Update - 22 Mar 2023

Hello, I leave my last update of the animation incorporating the breaking of the upper wall to see the general dynamism of everything before doing a render.

Update - 14 Mar 2023

Hi, I've made an update to my animation, thanks for the feedback during last week's online review. I've adjusted the timing of various actions, the pauses a bit longer, the final descent a bit slower, among other tweaks. I have also advanced with the Set for the final scene, adding some objects and painting the textures of the place to give it an abandoned industrial atmosphere.

Update - 28 Feb 2023

New camera settings with various camera shots to make the action more dynamic.

Update - 21 Feb 2023

I have been reviewing the animation more and I have added some movement to the camera, what do you think?

Update - 20 Feb 2023

Hello, I already start being happy with the general movement and speed. I have polished the movement of the legs, it still lacks, but I think it is on the right track.

Update - 15 Feb 2023

Hello, this is my entry in the animation category.

I am going to make the animation in Maya and I have downloaded the file that has been provided for this purpose. The model has the HIK as a way to control the character, this HIK is not comfortable for me when touching the animation curves in the graph editor. So after some research and talking to some members of the contest on the Discord forum I have found a way to do it that gives me more control than the HIK.

I have achieved this using a Rig that controls the original HIK Rig, this allows me to use the graph editor correctly. Once I'm happy with the result of my animation I can record it again over the original HIK with no problem and remove my rig that controls the HIK. I have offered the option to share it with other contenders on the Discord forum and have given it to whoever asked.
