Tsutaya Bookstore
Tsutaya - A Lifestyle Bookstore. The project is to design a Tsutaya Bookstore located at The Starling Mall, Damansara, Malaysia within 11,000 sq ft. To create a bookstore that encourage consumer to not just purchase but to explore different reading materials and living experience through navigating the bookstore.

Book Highlight Area - This area allow consumer to browse book in different direction under an intersecting structured shelf.
Stationary Area - There will be a service counter located adjacent to the area for consumer to get services such as wrapping gifts.
Children Book Area - Kid friendly design is applied with no sharp edges involve, rubber tiles and fabric is selected for acoustic purposes.
Interactive Zone - This area is designed for consumers to select their own reading materials without navigating the bookstore. Pendrive wall are placed there for consumers to select and straight away browse through digital platform and read. Seating are also provided through the area either public nor private.
Japanese-English Book Area - Along the pathway, readers can easily navigate different book sources and seats to read.
Designer Zone - In Malaysia, designer's reading source is limited, hence, this area will bring different types of designer books and materials to benefit the designers. This area can also be rent out for private functions or exhibitions to promote and support local artist.
Outdoor Seating Area - Next to the Designer Zone, an outdoor seating area is provided for readers to enjoy the view while having a cup of coffee.
CD/DVD Area - The space is designed in an organic shapes to represent the music melody flows through the entire area.
