Texturing and Posing
Had trouble with the arm and neck modifiers after exporting for texturing in Substance Painter, so I opted to separate them from the rest of the object.

Attempting Rigging
It's been a while, haven't rigged anything in a little over a year. So this was interesting to see how much I remembered without looking anything up online. Had fun problem solving and since this is a mechanical object, there was no detailed weight painting needed.
Here's a quick little rundown of what the results are. Had fun creating drivers and constraints, using curves, and having bones control the curves was new to me, I had to look up how to use the hook tool in Blender.

A robot design made by one of my coworkers, I asked for a reference and he sent me some, enough to work with for sure.
My WIP - using modifiers within Blender3D to model hard surface non-destructively by adding bools and subdiv, thus keeping the mesh nice and light and being able to move the arms and neck with curves as well.
