Otter-Bot

Here is my sketches for my otter-bot! I wanted a way to keep the shapes and flexibility of otters while still excorporating the shapes of a robot, so i decided that i would use multiple parts linked to gether with flexible tubing similar to that of a hoover!

This inspired the idea of my otter-bot being able to collect things while swimming, like how they sometimes collect pebbles, so i decided he absolutely must have a little storage compartment where he can display all of his treasures he collects with the hoover end of his tail!

I also added propellers onto his back feet to help him move through the water like a boat or submarine!

As soon as seeing the prompt for something cute, I immediately knew i wanted to make some sort of animal based robot. I decided to design a robot based on an otter! They are just so cute and i love how flexible they can be. I also really love the shapes that astro from Astro's Playroom is made up of, so i decided i wanted to incorporate that smooth yet boxy shape to my robot.
